Back at Etna for a few years now!! Very, very good pizzas. Top-notch service. I recommend it, just a stone's throw from the castle.

Pizzeria Etna is a relatively small restaurant with a good selection. The service is very friendly and attentive, but I feel they clear away empty plates too quickly! You should wait until you've at least finished eating. We ate here twice; once we had tagliatelle frutti di mare, and another time the veal schnitzel and the grilled onglet. All the dishes were very tasty and deliciously prepared. We'd love to come back again! The restrooms are very clean!

The pizzas are delicious 😋 however, I was a little disappointed by the ricotta and spinach cannelloni; there wasn't enough ricotta for my taste.

Busy, buzzy Italian restaurant in the centre of Pau. My côte de bœuf was extremely tender, with a really good char and a strong meaty taste. The duck was perfectly cooked (rosé) and full of flavour. Wine is very reasonably priced, and the Sangria was really refreshing

We went for dinner on a whim; the weather was rather unpleasant and we didn't feel like looking for a place to eat... and we were so lucky! We loved everything we ordered. I ordered tagliatelle del jeffe (zucchini, mushrooms, cream, garlic, and oil)—a generous portion and very tasty. We also ordered a pizza campagna (bacon and onion), which was delicious; the thin crust was perfect. I ordered sangria; they have glass, half-liter, and liter options. I'd never ordered sangria outside of Spain before, and I was surprised by how good it was. To finish, we ordered crème brûlée and a café gourmand for dessert, which is a medley of mini-desserts (crème brûlée, strawberry tiramisu, sponge cake), all accompanied by a good black coffee. Everything is homemade, and it shows. The waiters were also excellent; they were very friendly and helpful. It was a nice touch that they spoke to you in Spanish when they saw you were Spanish (since my French isn't very good). We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again. Part 2: And we went back… the next day (Sunday), almost everything in Pau was closed, so we decided to return after the great experience the day before. We ordered beef onglet with shallots and Hawaiian pizza. The meat was cooked perfectly, with a robust flavor, and the fries were homemade. The Hawaiian pizza was delicious—chicken curry with pineapple.

Simply delicious and good. And really inexpensive by French standards. I'll definitely eat here again in the future.
