L'Horloge Gourmande sur Tassin-La-Demi-Lune

Last night we had dinner at this charming restaurant. It wasn't our first time, and it certainly won't be our last. Everything was perfect. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls as a starter, which we shared. Then my wife had the John Dory fillet with saffron mussels, and I had the sea bream bouillabaisse. Everything was absolutely delicious. The sea bream surprised me even more because I'd had a bad experience in Cannes where I'd ordered a bouillabaisse that had greatly disappointed me. The sea bream I was served was simply perfect; just thinking about it makes me hungry, and yet I'd already eaten a rather good meal. For dessert, I chose the pistachio tiramisu, and once again, it was incredibly good. I could have had a second one if I hadn't had to be sensible, haha... it's not easy to be sensible at a restaurant like L'Horloge Gourmande. A big thank you to the chef, and a big thank you to the lady who served us so efficiently and pleasantly.

A very pleasant restaurant on a quiet side street, with a very warm welcome, delicious and generous portions, and good value for money. We'll be back!

An intimate restaurant with front and back terraces in addition to the dining room. Impeccable presentation! The confit was excellent, the burger was beautiful and flavorful, made with beetroot and no added sugar (unlike fast food). Simple and genuine cuisine; I commend the chef, the waitstaff, and even the apprentice. The prices are reasonable for the quality: well done!

A wonderful experience: pleasant dining room, excellent welcome, perfect service. And the food…: excellent!!! The daily specials were well-prepared and reasonably priced. In short, if you have a sweet tooth, you'll love L'Horloge Gourmande!
