A memorable French culinary experience. Quite pricey, but worth the trip to discover some remarkable dishes.
The risotto was rather... meh, and too rich in cheese.
The service was very quick, although you should allow more time to read the menu (lots of information and some clutter here and there).

A perfect execution of flavors. Cooking to the millimeter. A perfect wine selection. The menu is well-balanced and beautifully presented. The service and staff are impeccable. Go there, this restaurant undoubtedly deserves a Michelin star. The kitchen team is focused and laser-like. A real gem! ❤️

A fantastic dining experience in Bergerac. L’Imparfait has a beautiful, elegant atmosphere while still feeling warm and welcoming, and the service throughout the evening was attentive and professional.
I had the tuna for my main course, which was beautifully presented and a real highlight of the meal. You can tell that a great deal of thought goes into both the flavours and the presentation of every dish. Even the smaller details made the experience memorable, including the clever little hand towels that arrive looking like tablets and expand when water is poured over them!
Excellent food, lovely wine and genuinely thoughtful service. A special restaurant that I would happily recommend and return to.

Family birthday meal today, July 19, 2026: absolutely magnificent in every way! Each dish was unique, excellent, original, and of the highest quality! Our attentive waiter provided a warm, competent, and humorous service (little Noah was delighted to be pampered...). Thank you to all the staff; we'll be back! 😉

What a great spot for Sunday lunch at the price of a weekday menu! The amuse-bouches included in the set menu are included even if you only order part of it (starter/main or main/dessert). This restaurant uses seasonal produce and recipes, which is especially welcome during this sweltering summer! Refined and flavorful cuisine at a reasonable price! Bonus: a lovely terrace overlooking a quiet, pedestrianized street!

We loved the food, of course, but the extra touch was the extremely warm welcome throughout the meal. This allowed us to enjoy our dishes even more; they were excellent from start to finish.

During our visit, we browsed restaurant menus to make our choice. L'Imparfait was a wonderful experience, with a menu featuring genuine vegetarian options and dishes that were more original than average. The food was perfect, the presentation was meticulous, and the service was pleasant and impeccable.
We highly recommend it!

Excellent experience with delicious food and wine, at a reasonable price. Love the location in old Bergerac. The service was fabulous up until they forgot our dessert, but all good!
