Always top-notch, never disappointed, super fast takeaway service

We came for our daughter's birthday and left delighted. A very warm welcome, friendly staff. The wait time was reasonable and the food was delicious. We will be back.

Pleasant food, but disappointing service The food was good overall. The antipasto to share was particularly appetizing: the breadsticks made with pizza dough were very good, as were the two accompanying sauces. The salads were also excellent, both the Caesar salad and the chicken and tomato salad. However, the service was much less impressive. The young woman who greeted us barely smiled and seemed rather unfriendly. When we asked her if she spoke English or Italian, she replied that she spoke "a little English." She then escorted us outside to find a table. I asked her, in English, for a table that wasn't in direct sunlight. I'm not sure she understood my request, because we were ultimately seated at the only table where, around 7:15 p.m., as the sun began to set, it shone directly on our table. We therefore decided to leave without even ordering dessert. Another problem arose when the bill arrived. I had asked in English for "a liter of Moretti beer," but she apparently misheard it as "a little Moretti beer" and charged us for a small beer. Misunderstandings can happen, of course, but it would have been very simple to check what we had actually ordered. In the end, we didn't leave a tip. A cold welcome, service that seemed genuinely uninterested in customers, and, on top of that, an error in the order and the bill unfortunately discouraged us from leaving a tip. This is all the more disappointing as we ourselves work in fine dining and are usually very generous with tips when the service is excellent. In short: pleasant food and good ingredients, but an experience ruined by cold, inattentive service that didn't listen to the customer enough.

A timid but not unpleasant welcome from one waitress, but the order being taken and the service provided by two other waitresses was abrupt and without a smile, without a kind word—it was like an assembly line. Furthermore, I spent ages searching for the four cheeses in my calzone, which was mostly filled with cream and mozzarella, disappointing considering the price of the pizza. At the checkout, there was no way to see the bill, no summary, and no one asked how we had done. Overall, disappointed...

Good, but the staff lacked enthusiasm and, above all, friendliness. The waitress was neither friendly nor smiling; we felt like our presence bothered her. A shame. The food was excellent. I think the staffing issue needs to be addressed quickly. On the other hand, the cashier was top-notch, no complaints at all; the staff were well-organized and helpful.

A very reputable restaurant that's always busy, which speaks volumes. Always a warm welcome, smiling staff, and reasonable prices.
