Here's an address you need to know in Saint-Omer. If you love real cuisine, where the chef is in charge and not just following trends, you've come to the right place. Real dishes, flavorful and off the beaten path without ever taking you by surprise. Good, fresh, well-executed, and generous portions. I've always said: a chef who knows how to elevate fish can cook anything. That's certainly true here. The cooking is perfect, the seasonings are spot on, and daring to serve cheese with fish takes guts, but it works incredibly well (when it's properly balanced, which it is). The rest of the dishes are of the same caliber (magnificent sweetbreads, incredible ravioli, an excellent "variation"). And the desserts too: special mention to the organic rhubarb and meringue tart. An extraordinary vegetal flavor that's a welcome change from overly sweet meringue tarts. Wow, I can't wait to go back.

We were a table of six and we all had a wonderful evening, enjoying the ambiance and charm of the calm and peaceful restaurant. We ate very well and enjoyed an aperitif served in high-quality glasses – thank you! Thank you to the entire team!

The room had everything we needed for the weekend, and the breakfast was simply magnificent—homemade, homemade, and more homemade. The restaurant was also excellent, always homemade, delicious, and locally sourced. The service was warm and friendly, and the staff was very dynamic. The entire team was attentive and caring. A charming restaurant the centre of a lovely town near Calais. We eat inside, and the outside tables were also delightful, with more street noise. The small menu and specials of the day were well prepared and nicely presented. Service involved the whole family on this busy bank holiday which was an evening with glorious weather.
