Excellent restaurant, the meals are truly excellent: the preparation, the choice of ingredients, the presentation, the plating, the decor, the cleanliness, and, as an added bonus, the service is simply exceptional. I often go there alone to enjoy a pleasant meal. The only real drawback is the lack of respect from some diners. Regularly, some people feel compelled to share their conversations, which naturally leads to a noise level, as everyone starts talking louder. This isn't the first time, and it's a real shame to find yourself in a school cafeteria when everything else is perfect! If the noise doesn't bother you, go twice rather than once; you'll truly appreciate the experience!

01/06/2026: It was a joy to meet Chantal! We organized a party for 70 people and entrusted Kaf des Vieux Amants with the appetizers and the meal. The guests were delighted with the cooking workshops and then loved the meal. The staff is more than professional; a few briefings upon arrival and then everything went wonderfully. In short, pure bliss!

17/05/2026: A truly wonderful discovery in Besançon! The welcome was simply exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which immediately put you at ease. As for the food, it was a real treat. I opted for a flavorful and perfectly executed Arbois-style gratin, accompanied by a Bethanie wine that paired wonderfully. For dessert, the lemon cream meringue was light, balanced, and bursting with freshness. And to finish, an original and fragrant fir liqueur, perfect for concluding the meal. You can feel a real authenticity in both the food and the service. A place I highly recommend!
16/05/2026: The setting, staff, and cuisine were all top-notch. A feast for the eyes and the taste buds.
