We celebrate the New Years Eve at this restaurant. The service was quite paused for a Michelin starred restaurant (nothing like we were used to), the food was ok but not that impressive as one expects (I only remember the sophron lobster which was truly delicious). The surprise was that at 12o'clock nothing happened, no fireworks, not even a glass of champagne or the chef appearing in the room to wish us "happy new year". It was nothing special, a disappointed moment, but probably is a French thing, I really don't understand. Anyway, we were 4 at the table and we had lovely time, that's why I only discount one star of this review.

A delicious meal in a beautiful setting in the heart of Dijon. The lightly seared foie gras in a light broth was truly exquisite. We particularly enjoyed the perfectly cooked scallop with caviar and various pumpkin dishes. The duck with local blackcurrant and ground vegetables (including beetroot) was full of earthy flavors and, of course, accompanied by a red Burgundy. Quite classic in preparation and presentation, and that's truly meant as a compliment. Thank you for the wonderful, extensive lunch.
