A magnificent historical site from an architectural point of view. The route, with its various explanatory points and art exhibitions, is well worth the visit. It's a shame the bells weren't there during our visit.

Free parking a few minutes' walk away. The abbey is well-maintained. The visit is quick. The route is a little confusing, so you need to consult your map. We particularly enjoyed the immersive video at the end, which clearly explained the abbey's history through the centuries.

29/12/2025: Just a very brief visit to the lounge bar after exploring the abbey. A warm welcome, quick service, and reasonable prices. Charming décor, a crackling fireplace, candlelight: everything was perfect for a pleasant moment!

17/07/2024: Cadre superbe, accueil très sympa, simple mais très bon, un très bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande. Avant ou après la visite de l'abbaye de Fontevraud c'est l'idéal.
21/02/2024: Domaine au calme, nous avons déguste un repas autours de la Truffe. Repas très bon, service discret et agréable. Les vins proposés sont de qualité
