A real disappointment tonight. The welcome was grumpy. The food fell far short of expectations. Overcooked and poorly seasoned. Two smiling but clumsy waiters (still better than the welcome!). The setting and decor were very nice, though. Overall, disappointed.

The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the restaurant's cozy atmosphere relaxing. We chose a set menu and some à la carte dishes (starters, main courses, and desserts). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The cuisine is traditional. Everything is homemade with quality ingredients. We had a wonderful time! Thank you 🫶

14/07/2026: A magnificent place steeped in history. However, the lighting installations detract from the magic of certain areas when we visit during the day. There is also some damage in the crypt that deserves to be repaired.

17/07/2026: A superb little gem in Fontevraud. We were captivated from the moment we entered the restaurant: the tables are beautifully set with Limoges porcelain plates, the decor is elegant, and the atmosphere is hushed. The value for money is excellent. The dishes are sophisticated, inventive, and delicious. Truly a wonderful discovery!
11/07/2026: A lovely restaurant with a large terrace, refined and delicious cuisine, and a very friendly and professional staff. A great find, we highly recommend it.
