I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, both the food and the professionalism of the staff. A big thank you also to the Chef who accommodated my requests (without this, without that, etc.)! I particularly recommend the creamy dessert for those with a sweet tooth…

We had a very good lunch at La Croix Blanche today in a lovely, shaded setting. The food was excellent. The waiter was a little cold when we took our menu, but the waitresses were very friendly and pleasant. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

A very pleasant and cozy setting. Welcoming and friendly staff. The dishes we tasted were beautifully presented and, above all, excellent (the seasonings were just perfect). The homemade lemonade was delicious. We highly recommend this establishment 🥰

A magnificent setting for lunch. A small, shaded, flower-filled patio with a fountain. A very pleasant break after visiting the abbey. The dining room's decor is also charming. Worth discovering.

A great spot in Fontevraud! Whether for an aperitif or dinner, the warm welcome and quality of the food are guaranteed. Beautiful, flower-filled setting! The restaurant has a rather intimate feel, especially since the tables are quite spaced apart. Thank you so much and see you soon! 👋

23/08/2026: Exceptional meal with impeccable service.
18/08/2026: We had lunch facing a fire extinguisher! We had booked for six people at least two months ago. The table we were assigned upon arrival was right next to the restaurant entrance, a thoroughfare. Three of us had a view of a wall with a fire extinguisher and evacuation plan, while the other three could still glimpse the cloister garden. We asked if it would be possible to have a more pleasant seat to better appreciate the sumptuous setting. This wasn't possible. A huge disappointment. The kindness of the staff cheered us up a little. A special mention goes to head sommelier Aurélien Usal: his choices and explanations for the "Essential Emotion" wine pairing were remarkable. The meal itself was delicious. All that remained was the frustration and sadness of not being able to fully appreciate the beauty of the place. The view of the fire extinguisher and the evacuation plan shattered the magic of lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant...
