Place with very large significance. Not to be missed by people who love history. However, the contents and presentation of the whole site leaves much to be improved. Transport to and from is not easy unless you drive.

22/03/2026: Delighted with our lunch at this establishment. The cuisine was refined, local, and generous. The staff were attentive and helpful. The setting and decor were exactly as expected. Thank you for this enchanting interlude in Fontevraud.
