I really liked the hotel, very well maintained, refined, and the garden spaces are beautiful, with various types of animals, magnificent! The restaurant is very good, with great gastronomic experiences.

I am surprised to find (on April 8th) a call from you on my mobile phone on Sunday, April 5th at 1:05 PM asking if I was keeping or cancelling the reservation for two people for Sunday, April 5th at 12:30 PM, when we arrived that Sunday at 12:15 PM and our reservation made by phone on Tuesday, March 21st was not taken into account! Luckily there was space available! What is your explanation? Thank you. Ms. M.C. Bourin

An exceptional business trip 🌿💼 During a two-night stay in La Ferté-Saint-Aubin, I discovered a true haven of peace at L'Orée des Chênes. • Idyllic setting: A calm and rejuvenating environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of work. • Outstanding service: Highly attentive staff, making a solo traveler's stay particularly pleasant. • Gourmet cuisine: Exquisite cuisine that transforms dinner into a moment of pure pleasure. Far from impersonal standards, this is a rare gem that I wholeheartedly recommend for combining work and serenity. I will be back!

Au Bistrot Gourmand

12/09/2026: Excellent meal, the added bonus was the very pleasant back terrace, the waiter was very friendly, and the portions were generous.
30/08/2026: Deserves its 5 stars. My daughter and I went there on August 26th (2026), for lunch. We ate on the terrace, which was very pleasant. The service was impeccable, efficient, and friendly. The food is fantastic! Homemade fries, the meat was to die for (French origin), my daughter ordered the Caesar platter, a very popular choice, and she loved it! (A Caesar salad reimagined as a platter, an idea from Frank, the owner, who is also the chef). From the appetizer to the dessert, there was nothing to complain about, and honestly, it was all very high quality. We will definitely return, whether for a meal or just a drink. The atmosphere of this place is very family-friendly. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend this place.

18/09/2026: A sincere and very warm welcome, delicious and generous home-style cooking, and a well-chosen wine list. A wonderful stop in Sologne!
