18/01/2026: Comment following my visit and your response to my companion, "Constance jt" (below).
I'm sorry, but the food and service did not meet our expectations, for several reasons.
First, after ordering a fish appetizer, I felt it was important to change my cutlery, given that the next course wasn't fish-based. I was politely asked to keep my cutlery, which was on my plate.
Regarding the appetizer, the hazelnuts, in excessive quantity, overpowered the trout, which was otherwise delicate. A matter of taste, of course, but I'm sharing my experience nonetheless.
For the main course: a morel mushroom tart with ham and salad. The tart had the exact same consistency as my neighbor's sauce with his piece of beef. As Constance mentioned in her comment, this wasn't very well executed. The ham, a flagship product of our region, lacked quality and, above all, flavor. Again, this is a personal matter.
However, your response to Constance was anything but professional, and I would be happy to confirm our opinions in person! It seems from your reply that we were very lucky during our visit, since there was clearly confusion between forest crust and hollandaise sauce, and between trout and rabbit!
In short, the communication needs improvement, but above all, you need to be more willing to question your practices and accept feedback, positive or negative, which was given out of pure goodwill with the aim of helping you improve.
Have a good day.
