L'Origan sur Condom

A superb pizzeria, both for its unique setting and its cuisine. The wood-fired pizzas are delicious, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. A must-try!

My family and I have been coming to L’Origan for years now - our go-to place for family celebrations, spending time with friends or just enjoying an evening out. A good meal in France isn’t a rushed affair and never should be. Yes, you may have to wait a little, but that just gives you time to enjoy your surroundings and companions. If it seems busy, it’s because it’s worth being there! The alleyway setting is delightful both for lunch and dinner alike, with shades against the sun, and the ambiance is always top notch. Whilst I’ve not yet enjoyed a meal in the schoolyard they take over during the summer to operate an authentic brasero out of though it looks, sounds and smells divine! Their food is reliably excellent, I’ve never been disappointed with a single dish from this restaurant, and with a broad menu that caters to nearly everyone and a diverse drinks menu on the side, it’s a safe bet you’ll find something you’ll enjoy. Their pizzas really are a masterpiece, with the old fashioned wood fired oven producing both a delicious taste and authentic edge; thin base, generous fresh toppings and a slightly charcoaled edge from the wood oven, just perfect every time. Portions are generous too and their prices are more than reasonable. The staff work incredibly hard and are always accommodating and welcoming too.

We shared a meal as a family. We waited an hour before eating. We could have had time for a second aperitif, but the wait to order the second round was so long that we gave up. There was a problem with the order being mixed up with the next table. Aside from these wait times, the pizzas were relatively good. The rest was average. The pasta cream had gone bad, which was a shame. We appreciated the effort made by the staff who offered us a round of limencello and apologized for all the inconvenience.

A fantastic spot not to be missed in Condom. They serve truly delicious wood-fired pizzas and excellent desserts. The owner, who runs the pizza oven, is just like her team: incredibly friendly and kind. The setting is charming both inside and out. We only had an hour for dinner before our movie, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were served on time. A huge thank you! We highly recommend this place for its food, its welcoming atmosphere, and its very reasonable prices.
