We absolutely love L'Osteria in Île Rousse! From the moment we arrive, Lucien, the owner, welcomes us with a big smile and a rare attention: you can tell he's committed to pleasing each and every one of his customers. The dishes are remarkably refined, with a fabulous blend of flavors that enhances the ingredients. They combine generosity and elegance, a perfect balance between tradition and creativity. A warm setting, refined cuisine, and impeccable service: everything comes together for a wonderful experience. A place to recommend without hesitation! 👏🍷🍴

If I had to describe what eating at "L'Osteria" was like for us, I'd probably describe it as: a miracle! We hadn't planned to stay overnight in L'Île-Rousse, as we were supposed to catch the ferry from Bastia the following day, but due to the storm warning, our departure was postponed... and considering how we ate here, I'd say it was truly a stroke of luck! Of a ten-day vacation where we toured the north of the island far and wide, this was definitely the best choice we could have made! We started with a platter of local cured meats to share... The butter was delicious! The cured meats were quality! One platter really wasn't enough. We looked at each other and ordered another! Every course that followed was a firework in the mouth! And, of course, we didn't want to miss out on dessert! Here, there's a true pursuit of richness of flavor and quality. Even though a storm raged outside, sweeping away everything, inside the Osteria our time was filled with all the delicious treats we were served! To end on a high note, I ordered a glass of local myrtle... homemade! The glass seemed expensive at first, but the evening was so beautiful and full of emotions that we didn't want to miss out on anything! Delicious, a quality rosé unlike the commercial ones you find everywhere. Highly recommended. If I could give you 10 stars, I would!
