L'Ôtrement sur Sciez

Another excellent restaurant whose location (along a main road) doesn't hint at just how good the food is. Booked at the last minute on a Saturday at lunchtime, we had a wonderful time at L'Ôtrement.

The set menu was excellent. No complaints, we'll definitely be back.

A very pleasant restaurant with refined cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive staff both in the dining room and kitchen. We were lucky enough to have a table near the kitchen and admire the team's excellent work. Thank you for a lovely evening. I highly recommend it if you're ever in Sciez.

The food was excellent, but I was a little disappointed with the dessert (goat's cheese tartlet). The service is a bit unusual; very few servers speak French. It seems like some of them have learned a script to recite by heart. And they can be quite pushy, leading to a lot of awkward silences.

Excellent meal. Everything was delicious and refined. The staff is very friendly, but their lack of training is evident; the servers are too pushy, and their uniforms are dirty. You can sense their desire to do well, but perhaps a little more naturalness would suffice.

The restaurant is very pleasant. It's a beautiful setting. The food is excellent. Unfortunately, the service didn't live up to our expectations; the waiters didn't speak proper French… they struggled to express themselves and explain the dishes to us… At dessert time, the staff were drinking beers behind the bar in full view of the customers… not very professional…

We went there yesterday for a romantic dinner. I had the cannelloni with snails...delicious!! And the guinea fowl log with morels was also delicious!! A minor point about my dessert (white chocolate on a praline base which lacked a bit of texture and flavor). The ambiance was subdued and there was soft piano music; we had a very pleasant time :) We'll be back...

Always a delight. This is my sixth visit to this restaurant, and I'm always so happy to go back. A fantastic lunch menu, affordable and delicious, with refined cuisine. Good, discreet, and friendly service. I recommend this restaurant as the best in Sciez; you can go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed. Simply excellent!

The food was very good overall, a small menu which ensures quality. However, the menu presentation was poorly explained. The €24 lunch special only applies to the dish of the day. We asked the waitress, but she didn't explain it well, and it was difficult to understand her soft voice and accent. Thinking we were getting two €24 set menus, we ended up paying triple the price... The set menu with the daily specials is decent value for money, but if you order à la carte, I find the price high for the portion size, even though the food is still very good.
