We came on December 31, 2024, due to not having found another restaurant, and we had a great time for our last meal of the year. The service was impeccable, and the dishes, generous, delighted us before starting the new year.

Very well received, the food is very good. I recommend the truffade, the Auvergne burger, the Saint Nectaire fondue, the tarte tatin, the crème brûlée.

Lou Cantou was a wonderful experience for our family (11 people) during this Christmas week in Super Besse!!! A warm welcome, a dedicated and professional team, a remarkable generosity... We will keep a superb memory... It was our rallying point, lunchtime and evening... We highly recommend the 809 white wine, the Christmas beer and the aperitif board... We thank this great team who received us at 11.. always room for us, super friendly discussions and a wonderful welcome. It has become for us the meeting place for family holiday aperitifs.

A great welcome during our family Christmas week! Always smiling and caring for customers. We regularly came there for an aperitif, whether around midday or in the evening. We were always found a table despite the large family and were often offered something to snack on. I recommend 👌

On family vacation (11 people) it was our HQ for aperitifs! Great welcome, always ready to set us a table, ultra friendly service, very good team, smiling, friendly, communicative and generous!! We highly recommend this cozy and warm place!!

Disappointed by the welcome (it's the boss who is at the bar I think), and by the dish (fondue). The fondue was served in an earthenware dish without a stove (apparently straight from the microwave), so the cheese was solid after a few minutes... The cheese accompaniments were sadly standard.
In short, disappointed with this restaurant.

A restaurant that is not part of a chain, where you can drink and have lunch even without a reservation on Christmas Day, warm atmosphere,
very hearty and homemade meal.

Very simple, the dishes were good, nothing crazy, a very basic hamburger. The rest of the dishes were of the same order.
Do the trick for lunch, to eat quickly... There are better options at the resort for the price, quite frankly...
