L'Ours sur Bischwiller

There were four of us, we arrived at 7 pm and left at 11:15 pm. I've never waited so long for a main course, and the same thing happened for dessert. We ordered vacherin and wanted to know the flavors, but the waitress never came back. We waited 20 minutes, and then another waitress arrived. Next, we asked for the bill. I wanted to calculate what I'd eaten, and the waitress said, "Madam, would you like me to do the scientific calculation for you?" She continued, saying, "There's no point in you calculating it, I can't trust you, so I'll have to calculate it anyway," even though after ringing up the bill, my colleague didn't even know how to calculate the remaining balance. The main courses were nothing special, but the tarte flambée was good. The terrace was very nice.

This was our first time here, and it was a wonderful discovery. The outdoor terrace is superb and nicely shaded. It's best to book ahead; when we arrived right when they opened, there was only one table left. The prices are on the higher end compared to other restaurants, but it's excellent. There was a bit of a wait for dessert and coffee, but it was busy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant and have wonderful memories of it. The setting is simply magnificent, with a superb terrace and an atmosphere that is at once rustic, Alsatian, and refined. It's a charming place that captivated all our guests. As for the food, everything was excellent, from the aperitif to the dessert, including the main courses. The ingredients are high-quality, the presentation is elegant, and the flavors are exceptional. A huge thank you also to the restaurant owner, who was very attentive to our wishes, available, and particularly flexible. Her professionalism and kindness greatly contributed to the success of our day. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation and thank the entire team for making our wedding even more beautiful and memorable. ❤️✨🍽️

A very pleasant stay and excellent meals! We were invited to a birthday meal at this establishment, and everything was perfect, from the aperitif to the dessert; all the dishes were delicious. We had also booked the guest room for the occasion. The bedding was excellent, the space spacious, and breakfast was served outside on a table right in front of the room, surrounded by greenery—it was lovely and very pleasant. Thank you to the owner and the entire team for this enjoyable experience.

The outdoor terrace is idyllic and pleasant. We love coming in the summer to enjoy the charming outdoor setting. Friendly and professional service. The food is good.

Excellent food, superb service. Always very happy when we go. The potence (a type of pasta dish) is a pure delight. Great for children. I highly recommend it.

Very good tarte flambée. I seem to recall seeing that their Munster cheese tart was the most famous, but to be honest, the classic one is definitely worth trying. We weren't blown away by the Munster one, but it was still quite enjoyable. The setting is very pleasant, the exterior is beautiful. The interior follows the Alsatian theme (which makes sense, really), I just found the lighting a bit disappointing. It was very dim, which I didn't find very inviting. Depending on the time of year (and events), I recommend making a reservation. The day we went, it seemed that all the tables were booked, leaving little room for last-minute adventurers.

You arrive in a truly sublime courtyard, definitely worth revisiting in the summer. Good food, magnificent setting, not overcrowded. We had a wonderful meal. The only downside is the restaurant's opening hours; it closes at lunchtime on weekdays. For parking, we parked in the Super U parking lot.
