A delightful discovery, friendly staff. They gave excellent advice on wine selection. The service was efficient and quick. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We'll be back.

Very satisfied with our meal at L'Oursin restaurant! We had the set menu (starter, dessert, coffee) for €21 (weekdays), which was perfect and the waiters were very friendly!

This 65 year old establishment has saved my marriage at least twice in the last 20 years :) If you are having an (over-)heated argument with your spouse and it is scorching hot outside, head straight inside the cool belly of this pristinely clean, unfussy restaurant, be served quickly, eat the most delicious fish soup in total silence (it is that good!), have a glass of perfectly acceptable Muscadet, and realise that all is well with the world and your spouse is still very much the same person you once decided was good enough to holiday with the rest of your life :)

21/08/2026: Food is nice. I would recommend to get the tasting menus as it’s a very good value for money considering the amount of dishes and different flavours you get. I went back again and ordered from the normal menu which was also nice but didn’t make sense for the amount of money vs the tasting menu. Whilst I usually like quick service it was definitely a bit rushed, plates kept coming every few minutes so I would recommend to pause for a bit longer. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the placement of the restaurant is idilic.
