We had lunch at Marvelous, opting for the starter + main course lunch formula for €17.90, and were pleasantly surprised. The food is excellent: the salmon gravlax was fresh and tasty, with perfectly balanced flavors! As for today's suggestion, a rib-eye steak accompanied by foie gras sauce, homemade fries and a salad, it was a real treat. The meat, tender and cooked to my liking, went wonderfully with the foie gras sauce, which was simply delicious.
The service and welcome were impeccable.
Special mention for the place where we ate, a real favorite!

Hi y’all! How are you doing today?
Today, I tried The Marvelous in Montpellier, a cute spot for lunch. I had the beefsteak tomato with creamy burrata cheese as a starter, followed by grilled cuttlefish on the plancha with parsley potatoes.

Delighted with the Spanish clients and their graceful way of making themselves understood. They are the pear, I don't know why I learn French, yes, if they want to understand you, they understand you. It is better to order a main course and a dessert because the starters are similar in terms of presentation. The waitress's treatment was very friendly even though it was her first days.

We ate there in August during our vacation and honestly go for it! Top service, dishes at affordable and good prices :) the boss is a very friendly person! The setting on this little square is just magical: we look forward to returning there when we are back in Montpellier

Service was very friendly with nice meals and a superb desert. This was our second visit during our stay in Montpellier and it didn’t disappoint. Beware that ‘medium’ steak can be a bit rarer than expected but otherwise it is a great place to eat. It is in a tiny plaza hiding away in the back streets of old Montpellier. Definitely worth the effort to find it. Staff were kind enough to accommodate us using our newly acquired French language skills.

Situé une place historique qui accueillait jadis le palais des rois de Majorque, cette table montpelliéraine vous invite à la fraîcheur et à la douceur méditerranéenne.
Sur la plus belle place de Montpellier avec sa fontaine au calme.
