The service and food were absolutely wonderful. I had forgotten something, but a member of staff rushed to bring it to me, which I really appreciated. I will definitely return on my next trip to Montpellier.

Part of the restaurant was reserved for a group of 30 people, with one side being the dining room and the other the terrace. The owner and servers were incredibly friendly. The food was excellent. In short, nothing but positives.

A lovely family dinner out in a very pleasant setting with a warm welcome and friendly staff. It felt like stepping back in time, with a small fountain in the center. Excellent value for money, a top-notch chef, and very professional servers. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Hygge Cafe

11/07/2026: The best Brunch around, I recommend the GOAT. The coffee is very good and they have all type of vegetable milk options. Best chai latte around too. I have worked, eaten and drank at any time on any day and I really think Groove is one of my favorites spots on Port Marianne. Heads up to Louise , Nicholas and the crew 🙌

07/09/2026: I came to eat alone and had a fantastic time! I had a burger and honestly, it was amazing 🤩 It was truly incredible, with quality ingredients and tons of flavor. The service was also very pleasant and the man who served me was very friendly. A great place in Montpellier, I recommend it 100% and I'll definitely be back! 🍔🔥
02/09/2026: During a week in Montpellier we had several really good and happy meals at L’Idéal. Cédric is an excellent chef and host, who creates a welcoming, relaxed and informal atmosphere. Thank you!
