We went there last week.
Excellent welcome, the servers were very attentive and quick (it wasn't busy that day).
The food was very good, although a little on the large side. Excellent value for money for the dishes. Drinks were a bit pricey. We'd definitely go back and recommend it.

We ordered three set menus (starter and main course) available in the evening (which is unusual).
Everything was very good. The service was pleasant, and the ground-floor dining room was beautiful (which was a nice bonus).

The starters were good, and the owner replaced my glass of white wine, but the second one wasn't any better.
As for the main course, it disappointed us, and I won't even mention the desserts: a raw roasted pineapple and a disappointing frozen soufflé.
For €40 per person, I expected better.

A truly wonderful culinary experience at this restaurant, which I stumbled upon while strolling through the old town of Montpellier, where I stayed for a few days in March 2026. The Camargue bull steak, marinated in herbs, was tender and delicious, very flavorful and generous! The individual homemade chocolate charlotte was light and creamy, and the glass of fruity Faugères wine was a delightful treat for the taste buds. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! Kudos to the chef and the very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

It's always so good and enjoyable to come here! The dishes are beautifully prepared: the textures and flavors are perfectly balanced, the portions are generous, and the ingredients are high quality. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and we were greeted with smiles and attentive service by everyone. The prices are also more than reasonable. A fantastic combination for a delicious meal, a great place to try again and again!

Have had Le Marvelous on our radar for a while and luckily got to visit for lunch today as our trip to Montpellier nears its close. Great location on a pleasant square with fountain. Neat interior decor and friendly, professional service. Started with an excellent Kir then P had the bruscetta with honey roasted brie and salad to start and i had the salmon gravlax with wasabi cream, we both had faux fillet with peppercorn sauce for a main with an excellent piche of house red. Desserts were a chocolate charlotte for P and a chocolate cremma for me. All delicious, would highly recommend.
