McDonald's sur Gap

I wanted to leave a comment about the gentleman who cleaned the place. He was exceptionally kind to us. He even came to offer us water for our dog, a thoughtful gesture that touched us deeply. It's unfortunately rare these days to encounter such friendly and attentive staff. A big thank you to this person for his kindness towards customers.

Regarding McDonald's, it's impossible to leave a positive review for the quality of the food! It's always served cold and rubbery, and the cheese isn't melted (except for the coffee and hot nuggets 🙏). But who cares? There are always people like us who eat there with our children... Luckily, it's only about once a month! The staff is friendly, 😊 always! And what works in their favor is the long opening hours and the availability of restrooms without a code lock. The setting is lovely, with a view of the mountains!! And parking all around... My lunch today, including dessert and coffee, cost €34.50 for 1 adult/1 child. Okay, I'm going to go buy some citrate LOL Enjoy your meal anyway!

Fast service, no complaints, especially considering how busy it was. The food could be better: the cheese on the burger was cold. Overall, McDonald's is pretty good, and the Lyon-based McDonald's restaurants should take note.

You know what to expect when you go there. It's convenient when you don't have much time because it's usually quick; you either like it or you don't, but it's filling. Personally, I like the burgers with bacon, but I don't get the fries anymore; they're always either too soggy or as dry as cardboard. I was very disappointed last time. I went to get some food to eat at home with friends, and everything was cold and sloppy. I live only 5 minutes away by car, and I went straight home, so it couldn't have gotten cold on the way! It's true that it was during the Monte Carlo Rally, and I think the sandwiches were prepared too far in advance to anticipate the upcoming rush. For this reason, I can understand the poor quality of the food that day. If I had thought about it beforehand, I would have avoided going there that day. I might go back on a calmer day to see if the quality is better, otherwise we'll forget about it.

Imagine my surprise when I found a McDonald's after a four-hour drive without a break, with some rather questionable driving! The service was incredibly fast and the staff very friendly. Plus, the weather was mild enough to enjoy the patio on Valentine's Day. And what can I say about the food? The chicken nuggets were delicious and piping hot, as were the fries—enough to make up for the lack of student meals during this week of vacation! I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this restaurant, especially the restrooms. Not all McDonald's are like that....
