A very average experience in this place where you're crammed in like sardines. The waitress's constant "come on" after every sentence didn't exactly contribute to the tranquility of the place. The food was mediocre, exemplified by the very bland fish soup. A shame, because the shrimp were good and the seafood selection was quite extensive.

The oysters were excellent, however the fish soup was very average, as was the rouille: no zest, no spices to give this rather bland soup a twist. This needs to be reviewed with your supplier.

We decided to try some shellfish on a Sunday morning. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented, no complaints there. However, charging us €2.10 for bread, butter, and a quarter of a lemon is outrageous! When I pointed it out, they replied, "We asked you." Well, firstly, we weren't asked, and secondly, it's shameful to charge for bread, butter, and lemon! I will never return. We regularly eat oysters and shrimp, and we've never been charged for bread, butter, and lemon. We're not in Spain, we're in France.

We had 2 lovely breakfasts here on Monday & Tuesday morning ;) it’s too difficult to find 2-seats in Sunday noon. The Belon r small but the taste is best of the best!!!!

Every year I use Maison Merle for my end-of-year reception, and the quality is excellent, with oysters and shrimp. My clients can't wait to come back the following year to enjoy another wonderful time and, among other things, savor Merle's products. I highly recommend them!
