This restaurant is simply the best sushi in Paris: very fresh fish, excellent rice, very affordable prices and always warm and lovely service.

This was such a great experience! The food was delicious and everyone working there was so kind. The chef is a master of his craft and I highly recommend eating here over the restaurant across from them. Not meant to be shady but we learned that in Paris restaurants marked “Japanese” are done so for marketing but are often run by non Japanese people. True Japanese food spots will simply have Japanese names. Minori is definitely the real deal! Also is you’re curious, ask the owner to show you his picture with Miyazaki :)

Matsuya

23/09/2026: Very respectful and reasonably priced Japanese. I would not go out of my way to get there but if you need a dependable meal it's fine
19/09/2026: A very decent restaurant, unassuming from the outside, but go check it out! The mackerel sushi is excellent, the portion is well-balanced without too much rice. And the rice is good too. I also tried the avocado maki, which was delicious—the seaweed wasn't stretchy and the avocado was perfectly ripe! That's already a huge plus. Inexpensive, generous portions, and quick service. A must-try in the neighborhood! The dining room isn't particularly cozy, but the terrace is charming, and they offer takeout. Thank you! See you soon!
