I don't quite understand the recent negative reviews: for us, the staff was incredibly attentive, the atmosphere cozy with discreet but appropriate music. We loved the menu, the flavors, the colors, the textures, and the combinations. Just one small complaint: for several dishes, we were told that the chili pepper had been removed from the original recipe and that "it's not spicy." To better suit European palates, I imagine... A shame, I love spices, I love a bit of a kick!

A magnificent culinary discovery that transported us to the heart of contemporary Peruvian gastronomy. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the restaurant's refined and intimate setting. The atmosphere is elegant, calm, and welcoming, ideal for fully enjoying the experience. The open kitchen immediately catches the eye: impeccably clean, it allows you to admire the team's meticulous work with complete transparency.
To start, the Pisco Sour, Peru's iconic cocktail, was perfectly balanced, delicately blending acidity and a touch of sweetness that pleasantly whets the appetite. Among the amuse-bouches, the foie gras butter presented in the shape of a small chili pepper was as surprising as it was delicious, combining visual creativity with rich flavors.
The starter, a remarkably fresh ceviche, was enhanced by an unexpected touch: grilled ants adding a crunchy and original note. The pairing with an Argentinian white wine proved particularly successful, highlighting the briny and tangy flavors of the dish.
The main course, a slow-cooked duck, was remarkable. The incredibly tender and melt-in-your-mouth meat had no strong or unpleasant flavors, demonstrating impeccable technique. The accompanying Austrian wine was perfectly chosen and enhanced the overall balance.
Finally, the dessert brought this gastronomic journey to a beautiful close. Presented as a miniature beach, with a delicate combination of coffee powder and granita, it was as aesthetically pleasing as it was delicious. An original, refined, and memorable culinary experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to those who appreciate gastronomic discoveries and exceptional food and wine pairings.

The dishes were original and well-prepared, but not up to the standard of a Michelin-starred restaurant (especially the desserts) and not worth the price for a Valentine's Day menu. The quality of service and the welcome left much to be desired. I emailed Miraflores the day after my visit to report feeling ill after dining at this restaurant, suspecting gluten in my dishes or some other form of contamination, despite having repeatedly mentioned my intolerance. I received no response from Miraflores to my email. Disappointing for a Michelin-starred establishment.

Miraflores is everything you'd want from a fine-dining restaurant. The food combined interesting flavours and textures, the dishes were exquisitely presented, and the service was exceptional. I really can't fault anything. At this price point you want an amazing experience and it really delivered.

A wonderful discovery!
We went for lunch.
A quiet restaurant with Peruvian/Latin music playing in the background.
Impeccable service.
A cloakroom for bike bags and jackets.
A head waiter who presented the menu (our boarding pass to Peru!).
New flavors.
I understand that some might be a little disappointed with the dessert, but that's also part of discovering new cuisines.
If you're expecting a Paris-Brest or tiramisu, this isn't the place.
Before going, I thought some of the dishes in the photos looked a bit "kitsch," but once there, with the explanations, it made more sense.
Actually, they're reproductions and little nods to Peruvian cuisine.
In short, thank you for this culinary journey!
