After many meals spent at MITCH's, it was time for me to share my joy of returning there each time. Everything is fabulous there. Passing through the welcome, the warm side of the restaurant, the color and the exquisite taste of the constantly renewed dishes. It's always a surprise. And what a surprise. With each dish, we discover new flavors that our hosts take particular care to present to us to make us always want to return.

The 3 Bs, good and beautiful, and I could add a superlative! The prices are reasonable, we're having a blast! Fast efficient and exquisite. My companion and I would have liked to taste the cheeses and desserts, unfortunately our cinema screening and our delay prevented us from doing so. But it's only a postponement! I recommend

The staff is polite and one of the cooks explained to us what exactly was in our dishes. The food was very good and tasty, perfect for a fancy-ish diner with your family. The restaurant is next to a square with other restaurants. The restaurant next ti this one had live music and we could hear it which was amazing. The toilet was clean, there where tables outside and inside with AC. Though one waitress laughed at us when we wanted to share a dish. I'm pretty sure she thought i couldn't see it, but i noticed. But i guess french people can be judgy sometimes...🥐☺️

I was in Aix for the Opera.
The old town is charming.
Mitch was recommended as the best restaurant in town.
It is a very nice, laid-back place.
Madame Mitch is charming, as was the delightful young waitress who served me.
Mitch himself, less so and, although it was a quiet night, he seemed in a great hurry.
I started with a favourite dish of mine; vitello tonnato.
It was beautifully presented but veal that had definitely gone to beef.
My duck main corse was tasty but tough.
The highlight was the dessert, a beautifully presented pannacotta with exotic fresh fruit.
I was generally unimpressed with the food in Aix.
I have no doubt that Mitch IS the best Aix has to offer.
