The staff may change, but what remains most important is always the "Spirit"—the spirit of the restaurant, the bistro spirit. The quality of the welcome, the quality of the varied and always delicious dishes. But also, and this is very important to me: observing how the staff is trained, always with kindness and the right tone, is paramount. Yes, it's a good restaurant, a very good bistro thanks to its Spirit... Thank you for this wonderful experience, and once again, we wish you a very Happy New Year. Joël PILLON

We were visiting Lyon and the four of us dined here on New Year's Eve. Choosing this restaurant turned out to be a perfect choice. The food was excellent, and the service was witty, quick, and friendly.
Contrary to what the name "Bistrot" might suggest, this is a restaurant with rather upscale cuisine of a high standard—but at absolutely fair prices. Two of us opted for the three-course menu (€34), and we were all delighted with every single dish.
We had a wonderful evening and highly recommend L'Esprit Bistrot.

The waiter and chef were fantastic for a romantic dinner on December 31st.
Homemade food, a seasonal menu. Excellent homemade fries—in short, everything was delicious and well-prepared.

Excellent restaurant.
We came for a birthday meal as a group of 19.
We received a very warm welcome, and the chef was able to accommodate everyone's requests.
Despite the number of guests, there was no wait for our food.
We had a lovely evening.

We arrived unexpectedly on a Saturday at lunchtime. The welcome was warm, and the dining room gradually filled up. The atmosphere was pleasant and family-friendly. The service, although provided by a single person, was efficient and quick. As for the menu, we enjoyed the excellent hamburgers. The wine list is extensive and offers a fairly wide selection. In short, a delightful experience. We will be back. Thank you for the warm welcome.
