I work right next to Calibré and I regularly treat myself to an espresso… The coffees, the roasters, the team, the preparation and instructions, the service, the atmosphere—everything is of exceptional quality and surpasses most of the surrounding coffee shops. One of the cream of the crop when it comes to specialty coffee ☕️

The best coffee in Paris. That's all. Nothing more to add, if you love coffee, this is the place to be. There are many good cafes in the neighborhood, but Caractère is the best. P.S. I go there often, and I'm not surprised by some of the negative reviews; they're often from disrespectful customers who don't understand that the staff isn't at their beck and call. Some customers should be rated too 🤣 Be nice and respectful, and you'll be treated the same way.

07/03/2026: Excellent neighborhood sushi; the quality is consistently high. A special mention goes to the rice, which is particularly well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, making the sushi truly delicious.

18/08/2026: I went to this restaurant twice. The first time was for lunch in November 2025, and I really enjoyed it. Generally speaking, the fish is good and fresh, and the sushi is of good quality. Many Japanese people frequent this restaurant, which I imagine speaks to the chef's expertise. I was more ambivalent about my second visit, an evening in August 2026, when I wanted to introduce my partner to the restaurant. We waited about 40 minutes after ordering. Unfortunately, the set menu portions were ridiculously small and devoured in 5 minutes. At €40 per menu, we were disappointed and ate again when we got home. So I'm not surprised that other reviews mention it.
