A fantastic hotel with great rooms, in a quiet location with opportunities for walks. The center can be reached on foot. The small outdoor swimming pool is nearby. The food is wonderful, the wine selection from Cleebourg is very good. A place to relax.

For our 20th wedding anniversary we returned to where we spent our wedding night. Tastefully renovated room. Delicious meal. We will come back to this.

The hotel may be good - I wasn't in it. I leave a few reserve points for that. But marketing the morbid charm of crumbling mill wheels as a postcard idyll, while allowing the energy from the Lauter to flow unused because the nuclear power comes from the socket - that creates deductions across the board. A hotel for people from the last century who arrive with steam engines or combustion engine booze.

Lunch at the indoor restaurant: excellent cuisine, we enjoyed ourselves from starter to dessert. Impeccable service on a technical level, however I put a small downside on the relative coldness in the exchanges, no smile, the impression of disturbing when you ask a question, remarks out loud... However, we were a group rather nice. Maybe on a bad day it happens. Finally, the table located under the veranda lacks ventilation, the air conditioning does not circulate there, so the people against the window are a little hot.

Restaurant: I have been going there from time to time for several years and it is always a pleasure. The cooking is mastered, the presentation is harmonious, we discover new blends of flavors depending on the dishes... And we are always well received.

Das Hotel liegt sehr idyllisch an einer alten Mühle und zur Stadtmitte sind es nur ca. 10 Gehminuten. Das Essen ist famos zu absolut moderaten Preisen. Jederzeit wieder.

Restaurant Caveau du Chatelet

15/09/2024: We celebrated our son's baptism at the Caveau du Châtelet with around twenty guests. The meal and service were excellent. The restaurant is located right next to the historic city center yet quiet. The children loved the beautiful garden. We had a wonderful afternoon. Thanks to the whole team!
15/09/2024: Yesterday we ate again at the 'Caveau du Châtelet' and recommend this restaurant unconditionally. We have never been disappointed, the atmosphere is very nice, there is a parking space almost in front of the door, the food and service are excellent. Even if vegetarian dishes are not on the small, seasonally changing menu, the guest's wishes are met and a new dish is created on the fly, as happened last year with the Easter menu. A reservation is definitely recommended, they speak excellent German on the phone and in the restaurant, and like every Frenchman they are happy to receive a bonjour, bonsoir, s'il vous plaît and merci.

29/08/2024: If the restoration of Wissembourg were an event at the Olympic Games, the Petit Dom would deserve the gold medal!
21/08/2024: Very friendly boss, we really liked it and had a nice wedding anniversary. We'll be back
