A proper restaurant in Villard is a real treat: quality cuisine, a warm welcome, and a great atmosphere. They offer regional specialties, not just from the Vercors and Dauphiné regions (ravioli, caillettes, etc.), but also from Sardinia and Great Britain. A lovely little red wine from Châtillon-en-Diois is also available. Original recipes that offer a welcome change from the ordinary. In short, inventive cuisine that doesn't forget its roots.

Lunch as a couple at this superb restaurant in the center of Villard-de-Lans. The dining room is beautifully decorated.
The menu is small, which is a good thing. We even had a little trouble choosing! 😄 Dishes are prepared fresh to order with seasonal and local produce.
We knew before we even started eating that we were in for a treat.
Mark and Marianica, the owners, are lovely. Great lunch.

An unusual place with a warm atmosphere where you immediately feel at home upon entering. And the welcome? EXCEPTIONAL!! The owners, a passionate couple, take you on a culinary journey between Italy and England... and beyond. Everything is homemade with seasonal and top-quality ingredients. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.

The best restaurant in Villard-de-Lans. In the heart of the village, and for a change from raclette and fondue, don't hesitate to visit this excellent restaurant. The chef is English, the hostess who will take care of you in the dining room is French, and together they will offer you expertly prepared international cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. A few tables, a cozy atmosphere. Reservations are recommended!
