Very good Italian restaurant by the river. Always smiling, pizzas are great.

The seating area is nice by the river. The pizza is average, the fries are delicious, and they have a plate of eggplant with cheese that's very tasty.

We stumbled upon Neapolis by chance while craving authentic Italian food, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Chamonix. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the staff made us feel at home. We were given a wonderful table right beside the river, where the relaxing sound of the flowing water created the perfect atmosphere. The restaurant is incredibly cozy and truly captures the charm and spirit of Naples. With its friendly hospitality, delicious aromas, and lively ambiance, it felt like we had been transported to Italy. It’s no surprise the restaurant was completely full just minutes after we arrived. We started with the fresh tomato salad, served with complimentary bread and a delicious traditional fried bread that was absolutely irresistible. For the main course, we had the lasagna and an Aglio e Olio pasta specially prepared by the chef for us. Both dishes were outstanding—rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and among the best Italian meals we’ve ever had. To finish, we enjoyed a fantastic tiramisu along with a lovely Napolitan lemon liqueur, which was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. By the end of the evening, the staff no longer felt like restaurant employees—they felt like friends welcoming us into their home. The food, the riverside setting, the breathtaking view, and the exceptional hospitality made this an experience we’ll always remember. I highly recommend Neapolis to anyone visiting Chamonix!

Amazing food with a lovely view on the river and the mountain

My family and I ate at Neapolis at the end of our day in Chamonix. It was a wonderful discovery: the dishes were all delicious and fresh, the service was impeccable, and the mountain views were magnificent. I highly recommend it if you're in Chamonix.

A great place that I recommend. The welcome and atmosphere were very warm. The generous portion of baby octopus was a very nice starter, priced like a main course, but perfect for sharing. The pizzas are delicious. The wine was good but a bit pricey. Otherwise, the price was quite reasonable for Chamonix.
