Great ! The boss is great, everything was excellent and of very good quality. The service was impeccable, the takeout order was ready quickly, and everything was delicious.

We tried the takeaway sandwiches, really good and cheap (€7 per sandwich)! Great vegetarian offer! Really better than the €9 kebab next door! I recommend it to you

For my last restaurant in Lyon before returning home I was lucky to choose this good restaurant. I went with a friend and we ate very well! Warning: if you are a small eater, do not take the New Delhi menu. It is very filling! I had a breaded fish as a starter, cheese naan, prawns with Madras sauce as a main course, and two scoops of ice cream for dessert (coco-chocolate). I also had a banana lassi. Everything was delicious, but I couldn't eat for the rest of the day (lol). The gentleman who served was very friendly, and the cherry on the cake is that they accept ANCV holiday vouchers. In the top !

We have come several times (to eat in or a sandwich to take away) and we have never been disappointed. Which explains why we always want to come back. The boss is also very pleasant. This is an address to know!

Kind and welcoming staff. Delicious and perfectly seasoned food. The location is ideal, opposite the Old Lyon metro station. I recommend this place!

For more than 20 years, we have been frequenting this establishment on every occasion, everything is perfect, the cuisine, the welcome, the cleanliness... In short, we recommend this restaurant, surely the best in all of Lyon!

12/09/2024: We spent a very nice evening at Rose Allemand, the starters (samosa and paneer pakoras), the curries and naans are exceptional +++. The owner is really very welcoming and took the time to explain the menu. We will return!

07/09/2024: Funny eating Indian in Lyon but it was next to our hotel and we were hunkering for a bit more Asian flavor. I’m not Indian but I live in Silicon Valley so there’s a lot of great Indian food. The naan and pakora were fantastic. The masala chicken curry was tasty but very oily. The dal was good but nothing special. The mixed grill (shrimp, salmon, some sort of sausage) was, well, mixed. Weirdly no beer available. We had perfect weather outside but it was cramped fitting everything on the small table. Funny thing was that we thought the greeter dressed in full Indian regalia was a wax statue! After reading some of the other reviews, I had a few more thoughts. Got a table right away at 7pm on Sat. Thought the portions were ok. The pictured meal (with a tea) was 60 euros. Seems normal for a touristy area. Mild spicy, we could’ve handled more but it was fine. Waiter spoke good English and helped me order non-dairy so I appreciated that.
