Great welcome. Found unexpectedly, a selection of dishes, meat cooked exactly as requested, and a variety of sides. The owners and servers are top-notch. And thanks again for the water bowl for our (big and friendly) dog 😉

Nantua is a lovely spot on a beautiful lake, and this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. We went twice. The first time was in the evening for a pizza raclette. Their pizza dough is fantastic, crispy and light. Today we went back at lunchtime. Because it was extremely hot, the waitress suggested an Italian salad and a steak tartare. Both were excellent dishes! The restaurant has a spacious terrace along a fairly busy main street, but it keeps things lively and the traffic flows smoothly. The service is the icing on the cake. Very professional (as are the prices), attentive, and with a personal touch. Both the owner and the waitresses are happy to chat and share a joke. The atmosphere is great, which adds that extra touch to that holiday feeling.

02/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! The welcome, service, and meal were excellent, as was the room. And the view! Until next time...
22/01/2026: We arrived around 10:30 PM and booked online only 30 minutes in advance. The guy at the front desk was perhaps a little tired, but not as tired as us, as we'd been traveling since early in the morning. However, the room was freezing all night at 17 degrees Celsius because he forgot to turn on the heating. The room was small, and breakfast the next day was very expensive for what was available. But the view was lovely. The morning receptionist offered me a coffee when I explained we'd been cold the night before. She was kind. We could have gone upstairs—there's no phone in the room—and told them about the lack of heating, but we were really very tired. Overall, a decent stay. Room and breakfast were €100 for two. I'd tell the guy at the front desk to be more careful.

06/07/2025: A perfect restaurant, a wonderful discovery. Fast service, delicious food, a superb view, and a very reasonable price considering the quality of the products. We will be happy to return.
05/07/2025: The lakeside location is superb, but the service is subpar. Poor side dishes, forgotten drinks, and even toothpicks in the sugar bowl. Luckily, the appetizer and main course were good. I definitely won't be back.
