Safe bet, undoubtedly the best eel restaurant I know in Paris. Rare restaurant where the quality of the food reminds me of Japan. The staff has been the same for years, I see that as a sign of quality. Japanese ceremonial and aesthetics are not lacking. The only downside, formerly frequented by a mainly Japanese and discreet population, the last two times, unembarrassed customers occupied the entire sound volume of the place (on uninteresting subjects) without the staff being able to do much about it. I obviously would not make the affront of presenting it as an alternative to sushi/sashimi, I highly recommend it to those who want to experience a little taste journey. My guests, surprised the first time at the mention of eel, systematically ask me to return.

Very good restaurant for fans of grilled eels.

Very tasty unagi set. Eel was cooked to perfection. Special sauce rich and flavourful. Side dishes are very light to help cleansing palate after few bites of fatty eel and rice with the rich sauce. It’s my second time there and I’ll visit again when I’m in Paris. Reservation is a must as it gets fully booked most of the time.

Excellent from start to finish, we had the Aoba tasting menu and everything was perfect! The portions are generous, we didn't manage to finish our eel (eyes bigger than our stomachs 🥹) but the taste was divine! ❤️ Thank you for this moment!

A Parisian address not to be missed for fans of Japanese cuisine. A warm welcome. I hadn't booked, but they were still able to find me a table. As for the cuisine, it's a treat. Impeccably cooked eel, rice... Excellent too. I can only recommend this address.

This is the place to go when you need to take care of your body! The service is quick and the food overall is neat and clean. The quantity is a bit disappointing compared to the price.

Authentic Japanese experience with the highest quality of ingredients. Service staff are incredibly friendly and made room for me during a busy shift and while I didn’t have a reservation.
