This little shop has a great atmosphere, and you'll be greeted immediately upon entering (it's recommended to order in advance). It's a must-try eel rice restaurant highly recommended by locals! The eel rice is absolutely delicious—the skin is crispy and fragrant, the meat is tender and juicy, and the rice with its sauce becomes more and more flavorful with each chew. I was so full after eating it! The shop serves a medium portion and a small portion, and I felt that a small bowl would have been enough. The medium portion was too much; I didn't even want to eat anything else while walking around. Make sure to save some room if you're visiting!

Incredible experience. The decor is very understated and truly Japanese, starting with the noren (small curtain) that adorns the entrance.
The service is impeccable, and then comes the food.
It's unlike anything I've ever eaten, even in Japan. Eel is certainly not something you see every day.
Incredibly delicate, we ordered three different set menus, all excellent. A very nice selection of sake. In short, a truly unique experience compared to most restaurants... but if you don't like eel... Reservations are highly recommended.
