O Capot sur Caluire-Et-Cuire

We were a group of five on a Thursday evening, mainly there for drinks. We absolutely loved the atmosphere; it was so cool and friendly: the pretty lights, people chatting, eating, playing pétanque… everything created a really pleasant ambiance. After 10 pm, it got a little chilly, but I was offered a blanket, a very thoughtful touch that allowed me to stay outside until midnight. On the other hand, I found the prices a bit high for food and drinks. We ordered a mixed charcuterie/cheese board for €20 to share, but we were disappointed by the quantity, quality, and selection. I would gladly come back for a drink, especially when the weather is nice, because the atmosphere is definitely worth it. However, I don't think I'll be back for a meal.

We always enjoy returning to O Capot, for its location and atmosphere, its cuisine, and its very friendly and professional staff. One point to note regarding safety: the step inside is very poorly marked, a risk of falling is guaranteed; one of us experienced this firsthand.

A wonderful Sunday lunch with the family in this friendly spot! We relaxed in the shade of the parasols and plane trees, the food was delicious (and very reasonably priced), and the service was very friendly and efficient. We played a little pétanque to aid digestion, which the children loved! In short, we'll definitely be back, and thank you so much!

Discovered for my birthday, dinner for two on the terrace. Excellent food, impeccable and very pleasant service, the terraces are particularly well-appointed, with a relaxed, informal atmosphere and soft music perfect for conversation – fantastic! The pétanque courts and tapas menu complete this establishment, which is definitely worth a visit!

While passing through the area, we discovered this very welcoming restaurant. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The cuisine is refined.

The waitress was great but slow because she was working alone. A shame considering the number of tables... The bread portions were very small, which was a shame because it meant a long wait. The portions could be a bit more generous too, for the price. But it was very good!
