07/07/2026: A place we've been coming to for many years. Always a very warm welcome, for a pleasant seaside getaway. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closing, what a shame. This restaurant was a haven, a reliable choice, a family favorite where the dishes pleased both young and old. Where will we go now?
26/06/2026: Tonight, aside from the numerous breaks and the nearly empty restaurant (only 3 tables), while my partner wanted us to use our loyalty cards, we were flatly refused the set menus our cards entitled us to. Even though we had told the gentleman who seated us at the entrance that we wanted set menus based on our cards, when the bill arrived the waitress told us it wasn't possible because we had to inform her when ordering (even though we had mentioned it upon arrival). The excuse given was that the table was on sale; otherwise, we would have been given what we were entitled to. They didn't even offer to reissue our cards to stamp and register our visit. We know the restaurant is closing, but still, cutting off the music (no background music at all), skimming when we're perfectly within our rights and it's just plain bad faith (we ourselves, working in the restaurant industry, know perfectly well that we could have passed it on as a "freebie" even after the bill was issued, or at the very least on another table's bill—in short, bad faith). The food was okay, although the tomato and burrata starter wasn't as nice as the one in Nanterre, which offers a sun-dried tomato compote. The fries were reheated, and the waitress was just doing her job, but there was absolutely no courtesy, no lemon in the Coke, basic friendliness, and she didn't listen (we told her I was the only one drinking, and she brought two glasses; we put the glass aside, and she cleared a plate or a bottle but left the glass), and above all, she was on her phone. If it's been like this for a long time, there's no wonder it's closing. A shame.
