O Chalet sur Eragny

We were looking for a fairly unique or themed restaurant. This one ticks all the boxes: mountain, Savoyard, Swiss... in short, the mountain theme. The restaurant is located on the banks of the Oise River. It's really peaceful in a very green setting, really lovely. There's parking right in front of the restaurant. There's a terrace, and the dining room is quite spacious with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The mountain theme is easily recognizable thanks to the colors and decor. We were served by the couple who have run this establishment for a very long time. It shows in their experience and their manner (direct and friendly. Don't be offended!). They're quite funny, actually. The menu is simple, well-written, and well-presented. The signature dishes are the raclette and the fondue. The food is excellent, and the portions are very generous. The price reflects the quality of the service. Important: BOOK IN ADVANCE!

A delicious and well-prepared meal, accompanied by the ever-present smile of the friendly waitress. A family lunch by the water that was a great success.

Several dinners at this restaurant with its immersive mountain atmosphere 🛖. A wonderful discovery that makes you feel like you're in the mountains for an evening. 🗻❄️ You'll truly find authentic flavors and quality products typical of the Alpine regions. The cheese and charcuterie are excellent, and dishes like the tartiflette are perfectly executed: flavorful and wonderfully creamy. 🧀 Whether you're dining as a couple or in a group, it's quite easy to find a table. However, be sure to book in advance, as the restaurant is small. Located by the water, it has a small parking lot accessible at the end of a narrow driveway.

A place that makes you want to come back.

I often walked past it during my runs and thought the setting was lovely; I wasn't disappointed at all. Admittedly, the restaurant is rather rustic, no frills, like eating at your grandparents' house, but the food is excellent!! Fresh, high-quality ingredients at very reasonable prices! The raclette cheese and charcuterie were exceptional, as were the tartiflette and tiramisu 🤤 I even saw some incredible burgers go by. The parking right across the street is a real plus! We'll definitely be back!! P.S.: Book on their website!

We booked a table for two for an evening and ordered the raclette. It was very good quality and delicious, but unfortunately quite expensive. The atmosphere was a bit cold, though.

We went there for a team meal and to check it out... We had a fantastic time: the quality of the cheeses and charcuterie was excellent, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Sharing dishes (fondue, raclette) made the meal very convivial. I highly recommend it and I can't wait to go back with my partner!
