We received a very warm welcome, had a great time, and the Welsh rarebit was delicious!

So, I'll try to be constructive in my review because it wasn't exactly the experience we were expecting. First, the positives: - The young, blonde waitress, who I think was a student, was very nice. - The salmon and goat cheese appetizers were very good. The sorbets and Nutella tiramisu were also excellent. - The restaurant is beautiful in terms of design and location and has potential. - The food arrived quickly. - The cocktails. Now, things to improve: 1) We came as a couple, we booked by phone, and we were quite surprised to get a cold and unfriendly answering phone call from someone who barely responded. 2) Then, when we arrived, there was no one else there. It was 8 pm, and we were seated at a table for two. After we were given our menus and chose our dishes, we were told there was no more mint, no more conchiglioni, no more salmon, no more mussels, etc., which was exactly what we wanted: mojito, salmon, mussels, etc. In the end, I was offered a replacement dish which was still good, so I can't complain too much. My partner, on the other hand, managed to get the last mussels, but they were very SMALL, there was hardly anything to eat in them. He was a little disappointed, but they were still tasty, so it was okay. 3) Two people came in, and despite the size of the restaurant, they were seated...RIGHT next to us!! Everyone was uncomfortable. They ended up leaving 15 minutes later because they were told afterward that there were no more mussels. They left unhappy. (I'll overlook the fact that customers' cutlery wasn't removed even though it had been touched by these people, even if they hadn't eaten...it would have been the least they could do to replace it.) This needs attention because it's not pleasant for customers to be crammed together when there's plenty of space. Plus, not replacing the cutlery is really poor service. 4) The cutlery wasn't clean; I had to use the ones from the next table...😢 5) I found a piece of plastic at the bottom of my sorbet, which put me off a bit, even though I'm not usually fussy...it could have been dangerous if I hadn't seen it. Also, we weren't asked if we wanted crème fraîche, and being lactose intolerant, that was a problem, but oh well, I gave the whipped cream to my partner. 6) The dish needed more salt and pepper, and some of the tagliatelle were sticking together. Well, there you have it. It was a mixed experience.

Good fish restaurant, I ate well. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere.

Recommended by the Petit Futé guide, we went with confidence despite the mixed reviews on Google. The waitress was pleasant, and the brasserie menu was nice. We had delicious mussels and Welsh rarebit with French toast for dessert. Everything was good and well-prepared. Contrary to what's written, the restrooms are clean, and the kitchen, which is partially visible, also appears clean... So don't hesitate to try it for yourself.

So, how can I put it?! After reading some of the comments, I'm wondering if I got lucky or if everyone's just being unfair! Anyway, we ate at this restaurant, and it's true the tables were close together, and as for the smell, I'm skeptical... well... Sorry for the bad pun. For us, the toilets and dining room were clean. It's true we're at the very beginning of the season, so things can change. My wife had duck breast, which was good and a generous portion. I had pork ribs, which were also good and a generous portion. The waitress was new to the service but very pleasant and made a very good impression. Thank you, Nanou, and best of luck! Aside from that, I think it would be better to reduce the portion sizes. I admit the vegetables and meat were good and cooked just right, fresh vegetables, and the bread was good. Just a word to the cooks: when you walk past customers in your restaurant, a simple "hello" is enough to improve social interactions and, above all, improve relations with the public.

An experience to repeat, delicious food, calm atmosphere, top-notch service, definitely worth doing again 😉
