22/02/2026: Excellent advice, all the chocolates can be tasted on site which is really nice!

15/02/2026: The service was very inconsistent: we went to Max Vauché for ice cream twice this summer. The first time was great, with a young, generous server who gave us generous scoops (which seemed fair given the rather high price), was friendly, and offered helpful advice. The tables for eating in were a real plus! The chocolate sorbet wasn't as intensely chocolatey as I would have liked, but it was still very good. However, what a disappointment our second visit was! An older server who seemed bothered by our presence, very small scoops... and unfortunately, that day I chose the coffee flavor: the large quantity of coffee bean pieces in the ice cream was quite off-putting. I didn't like it at all. As for the quality of the chocolate, I was disappointed: we bought the chocolate squares to go with the coffee, and I found them far too thin. It's impossible to get any flavor with so little product! The spread was very sweet, and the chocolate candies were just okay. Only the marshmallows were a hit with my sister. In short, for the price, it wasn't anything special. I was left wanting more!
