Oysters Shop sur Annecy

I have been traveling Europe for three and a half weeks and it took 5 countries and far too many cafes to finally have a great flat white! I had lost all hope in having a good cup of coffee. Cannot express the joy and relief with my first sip :’)

The phrase hidden gem is overused, but Bunna is it. Delightful, thoughtfully prepared and presented coffee, lovely food offerings, and a quirky, tiny location that makes you feel like you’re a member of a select club. So happy to have found it.

A lovely gentleman who runs this place! Excellent coffee! Special mention for the pistachio brownie, which was simply delicious.

The latte is delicious; we ordered the Demmi baguette with cheese and butter. The lady's service is amazing and very helpful. Don't hesitate to come ❤️

The coffee was excellent, but the owner's unnecessary attitude toward my wife and me for enjoying a small pastry outside in his seating area while drinking his coffee was unwarranted. It would be understandable if we caused a mess or disturbed others, but we were quietly eating a pastry from Paul with no intention of provoking the owner, who commented with a smile about "no picnic." We weren't misusing the space; it just felt like the atmosphere had changed from welcoming to somewhat restrictive. Such a business approach seems unnecessary given the limited options and lack of common sense. If it were me, I would have ignored the commenting since it wasn't worth the fuss. The coffee remains superb, but the pastry and cake options are limited, and the cake under cover appeared old and tired. Despite that, it’s still worth visiting for the excellent coffee and the dry cake.
