Papote et Grignote sur Pau

One of only 2 vegan restaurants in Pau. Nice relaxing atmosphere. The starter was interesting raw veg, hummus and strawberries. The tabbule main had quinoa,peaches and tiny little cubes of tofu. Really tasty. Had a walnut cake for dessert. Beautiful. Highly recommended if you don't like eating where dead animals are served.

I don't come often... But whenever I can choose a restaurant, it's Grignote! We love its discreet location, the lovely natural decor, and Eva's friendly and discreet service. The dishes are as much a feast for the eyes as for the palate, and the unique monthly menu is always a hit! I'm a big fan of the "open-faced sandwiches of the moment" in every season, and I'm never disappointed, always delighted! And you can go for the desserts without hesitation; they're all to die for! So yes, it won't suit every palate... Forget superficial flavors and excessive sugar. Here, it's about rediscovering more natural food, without unnecessary flavor enhancers, and vegan to boot. It's not easy to achieve, and yet, Grignote does it brilliantly with seasonal ingredients! So, for those who enjoy culinary innovation, simplicity, and a warm, Nordic atmosphere, I highly recommend it! In any case, we'll be back, and more than once!

While passing through Pau, we had a wonderful time! The food was fresh, seasonal, and delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming. The setting is lovely, located on a pedestrian street. A flawless experience and a great find!

A lovely, beautifully decorated place to eat in the heart of Pau. The service was very pleasant and the food was excellent; the dishes were beautifully presented, like magnificent paintings, bursting with color! I highly recommend it!

We had a truly delightful time with my family, including my dog! The food was as delicious as the experience itself. It's very pet-friendly, so if you have a dog, don't cross this charming café off your list for breakfast, brunch, or lunch! Everything is vegan, and the vegetables are as fresh as we like them. The matcha and carrot cake are excellent!! 🥕🍵 This place is a real gem! So much so that the selfish part of me is saying, "Don't write this review, keep this wonderful find to yourself! 😋" Thank you for the warm welcome! I love this tea room. It's delicious. I feel good there. It's really the perfect place to chat with friends. It's vegetarian and it's beautiful even before it's tasty. It's a place where I can relax. Where I can take my time… And you?

A truly lovely discovery! 🥰 We took advantage of a trip to Pau to discover this vegan restaurant. And wow, everything is perfect! From the outside, the place is magnificent and makes you want to go inside. The interior is beautifully decorated with wonderful little details. And the food is a delight, the flavors are perfect, and the portions are very generous for a very reasonable price. I went with my 9-year-old daughter, who devoured her burger. We absolutely loved the carrot cake, the best I've ever had. And my daughter thought the all-chocolate cake was incredible! 😋 Kudos to this duo of women for creating this place, for allowing us to eat vegan, and for your kindness! 🙏🏻 To park, go to the Bosquet parking lot, which is a 2-minute walk from the restaurant—it's perfect! 😉 We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Pau! 😊
