An exceptional evening, from the service to the food, everything was perfect. The flavors were delicious, the presentation of the dishes was elegant, and I particularly enjoyed the two-course option. The service was attentive and professional. Thank you all, we had a wonderful family evening. Le Pastis is a place to remember, and I will gladly return on my next trip to Montpellier. I highly recommend it.

As regulars at Montpellier's fine restaurants, we were a little disappointed: the decor and ambiance were very minimalist, though the tableware was lovely.
The dishes were good, the quality and freshness of the ingredients undeniable, but there were no real culinary discoveries, and the portions were minimal. The dessert was uninteresting. The wines and champagnes, however, were very good.
The waiters and waitresses were very pleasant and smiling.
So, a mixed review, as we didn't experience the "wow" factor of a first tasting. Fortunately, the value for money was very good.

We discovered this restaurant thanks to a gift card. To say we weren't disappointed is an understatement. Everything was perfect: the dining room, the welcome, the service. The team was young, attentive, and readily available. The four-course lunch menu was absolutely delicious. A blend of Japanese-inspired flavors with local products: guinea fowl from a producer in Mauguio, tuna, meagre, and swordfish from the Mediterranean. Dessert was complemented by a Masake sorbet.
The bread came from Christophe, our champion baker, "Du Rêve et des Pains" (Dreams and Breads).

An exceptional evening. A perfect evening. Thank you to the chef for his refined cuisine, bursting with flavor, served with passion and elegance. We appreciated the professionalism of the young waitress and waiter. They greatly contributed to the experience. The discreet and attentive presence of the maître d'hôtel was also appreciated. We had a wonderful time at Pastis restaurant. The staff were truly charming and attentive, and the food... it was impossible to choose a favorite, everything was perfect.
The surprise menu concept is brilliant. The wines were perfectly paired.
In short, thank you for a very enjoyable experience; we can't wait to return.

Living up to its reputation, this is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Montpellier. The cuisine is both surprising and perfectly conceived, each dish demonstrating great skill and genuine creativity. The wine pairing was exceptional, offering excellent value for money at this level of service. The atmosphere, both chic and relaxed, along with the thoughtful touches (it was our wedding anniversary), made the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention goes to the veal dish. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return.
