We are two Quebecers who spent two weeks in Montpellier. We discovered Café Idéal, located near our apartment. A friendly place where the chef gives a warm and humorous welcome. The homemade food, made with quality ingredients, is excellent. We particularly enjoyed the duck breast served with ratatouille or fries. The delicious homemade ice cream is also worth mentioning. Whether for lunch or an aperitif/coffee break, the service is impeccable. It's also worth noting the very competitive prices for this quality of food.
