Go in without hesitation. Finally, a successful breakfast! Tarts with very crispy puff pastry, Kusmite, Batista coffee. And, importantly, a nice touch: small cream puffs and a free glass of water, all served with a smile. I recommend this place for its sandwiches, the variety of its drinks and menus, and its large, pleasant dining room. However, the bread sold in packs of 3 + 1 free is best avoided; a big disappointment, supermarket bread. I'll have to see about the other items I didn't buy.

Excellent sandwiches. Fresh and appetizing. One small drawback regarding the service: no tongs or gloves for the staff handling the food.

06/07/2026: I regularly eat sandwiches between noon and 2 p.m. This one was ham, butter, and Comté cheese with a baguette. Absolutely delicious and generous. I added a flan, which was just as good, and the whole thing was very reasonably priced. Well done! Don't hesitate to make the trip and skip the McDonald's and other fast-food chains.
05/07/2026: Don't judge this bakery by its exterior; give it a try. The traditional bread, specialty breads, and pastries are delicious. For me, the only downside is the limited selection of cakes and pastries, aside from flans. And it's not the presentation that determines the quality of the products.

02/09/2026: A wonderful discovery in Thouars! Au Plaisir des Gourmets truly lives up to its name. We had a fantastic time, both enjoying the food and the warm welcome. The dishes are delicious, refined, and prepared with beautiful ingredients. Each plate is beautifully presented, with delightful flavor combinations. A real treat for food lovers! The welcome is warm, friendly, and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. You can feel a genuine passion for their craft and a desire to please their customers. An address we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will be delighted to return! An excellent restaurant in Thouars.
12/08/2026: A very discreet place to taste their lovely gourmet dishes. The taste, freshness well balanced delicious meal with delicate presentation for the eyes. Very good dinner we enjoyed it all, most call back again for it’s lovely to add on our collection ❤️❤️🍀
