It's always a pleasure to go to A Patapain, whether for lunch, an afternoon snack, or even just a baguette; you're never disappointed. Friendly staff. 😉

The large terrace is pleasant but could use a refresh. Two pastries plus coffee cost €3.70, compared to €2.50 at Ange. The manager told us they're losing money selling at €3.70, but how does Ange manage to have such a competitive price? Wouldn't one pastry be enough to lower the price?

After a recent visit to Patapain, my feelings have completely changed upon learning about your sourcing practices. Knowing that, in standard farms, piglets have their tails docked and their teeth filed down at birth, while breeding sows spend half their lives in cages, significantly tarnishes my customer experience. Pigs are intelligent and sensitive animals, and these cruel practices cause them immense suffering. I expect a clear commitment from Patapain.

The welcome is very warm and you immediately feel at ease. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant, which makes you want to stay. The staff are always smiling, attentive, and professional. It's a place I truly enjoy going to every time.
