Product quality isn't everything. At this price point, I also look for service, friendliness, and helpfulness. Here, that's a complete failure. The three salespeople stay in the center of their booth, laughing and chatting, completely ignoring the customers. And what about the young woman who walks across the shop, nearly knocking you over, all without so much as a glance?

This pastry shop offers delicious cakes and catering services, but the welcome and staff are really not up to par... The staff seem exhausted and customers aren't even "welcomed"... In short, surely the consequence of rock-bottom wages... It's a shame!

The pastry shop is excellent, but the staff is lacking. Arriving at 12:15 pm, the waitress seemed more focused on putting away unsold items than serving customers! Apparently, I was bothering her by wanting to buy a peanut Paris-Brest. Such a poor welcome doesn't exactly inspire confidence...

Very disappointed by some of Cassel's cakes! Last year, I bought a revisited Paris-Brest with peanuts for my son's 18th birthday, and it was inedible... The same thing happened with a chocolate cake I had for Mother's Day! Considering the prices, you'd expect good cakes... On the other hand, the Jivara cake remains a reliable choice, but the taste isn't as good as it used to be, which is a shame...

We stopped in Fontainebleau again to offer a delicious and original cake to our guests. The bread was also to our liking. However, the staff didn't always seem to be trained to answer the questions we asked.

I went there to check my experience by reading the reviews... unfortunately, I see I wasn't the only one questioning the staff's professionalism. I hope my comment prompts a response from management, because beyond the undeniable quality of your cakes, the service in the shop is akin to a summer camp. There were awkward moments trying to make eye contact with several employees, who were too busy giggling amongst themselves between the shop and the back room. We even wondered if they were all laughing at us, haha, it was quite something. For us, it will be the first and last time.

We go there mainly for the croissants, which are the best in Fontainebleau!
The pastries are less impressive; they're quite rich in flavor, even if they look rather nice.
