I've never been disappointed by the quality of the pastries and chocolates myself, and we only get positive feedback from our customers who love them. We buy our weekend breakfast there and are very satisfied. The staff is very pleasant.

For several years, our company has relied on Mr. Jeanson for our annual client event at the Louvre-Lens. The services are always of high quality, showcasing excellent culinary creativity and professional, friendly staff. A trusted partner we highly recommend!

We've been coming here regularly for years. The hunter's bread is delicious with a good pâté or other tasty dishes! We love the pastries. The "tigré" (a type of chocolate cake) with its delicious ganache is a real treat every time it's available! The establishment is especially renowned for Mr. Jranson and his mastery of chocolate. We adore getting the "rocher" (chocolate rock). It might seem expensive, but it's absolutely delicious! And after that "rocher"... we won't eat anything else 😅 The saleswomen are very helpful, kind, and attentive! We've also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jranson several times. Despite his talent, he remains approachable and wonderfully down-to-earth. This establishment is a real asset to our struggling town.

Beautiful pastry shop with stunning creations. Excellent chocolate shop. This January, don't hesitate to order the chocolate croustigalette (order in advance, of course), it's a feast for the eyes and the palate.

Lovely place with local flare and good coffee. The “mining hill” dessert is “to climb” for. The quirky decoration is super charming and a fresh air after the multinational franchises that feed the masses.

We regularly come for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and pastries. Everything is excellent, refined, and delicious. The cakes are made with high-quality ingredients. The chocolates are perfect. The pastries are too. We also appreciated the quality of the traditional wheat breads. The welcome is warm and friendly. The pastry shop and tea room are institutions, boasting a magnificent Art Deco decor and facade, celebrated by the New York Times. Mr. and Mrs. Jeanson perpetuate the excellence of this establishment, passed down from father to son for decades.

The chocolate was good. The pastries were expensive for their size. When we arrived, a cup was missing, so the saleswoman gave one a cursory wash with hot water (where's the hygiene?).
