30/07/2026: After visiting the 6717, a review is in order. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. However, at this price point, several aspects deserve to be highlighted. Rooms There were no welcome chocolates or fresh fruit upon arrival. The room did not include a coffee or tea machine. Some tile grout in the bathroom was dirty. The light on the magnifying mirror, as well as one of the bedside lamps, was not working. Finally, both the bedside lamps and the light switches felt rather outdated for a hotel of this standard. Restaurant The water glasses used in the restaurant are branded with a local bottled water company. That would be perfectly acceptable if the pricing were more consistent with that level of presentation. The Riesling, served with a screw cap and displaying noticeable acidity, was disappointing given the region’s reputation for exceptional wines, especially considering the price, which is comparable to Michelin-starred restaurants nearby. It would also be appreciated if a variety of vegetables were offered at breakfast. Don’t be surprised if from the SPA to the restaurant, easyJet style formulas with prices everywhere will be offered to maximise purchase in a quite inelegant manner. That said, both dinner and breakfast were simply outstanding. The chef and the entire kitchen team deserve special recognition. The gardening team also deserves praise, as the grounds are maintained to an exceptional standard. Overall In conclusion, the overall quality was good, but unfortunately quite inconsistent across the different departments. Ultimately, it comes down to value for money. Considering the points mentioned above, I believe the value proposition is rather disappointing, especially when compared with competing establishments in the very near vicinity.. 04/06/2026: Fantastic hotel. Great spa area and very friendly staff. The room was absolutely beautiful and luxurious, with a huge glass shower and other luxuries. Dogs are welcome, except in the restaurant. In short: Top-notch! We'll definitely be back!
