Small Salon de The. Plenty of choice regarding sandwiches and cakes. Personally, I enjoyed Earl Grey tea and a cake, a bit like Tom Poes.

Good and attentive service, I love café au chantillle. Hidden little inner yard in summer time for a cosy moment...

Delicious cakes 🎂 and pastries, and the coffee is a real treat. There aren't many seats inside, so there might be a wait.

A bakery I highly recommend! The staff is always smiling and welcoming, which is a real pleasure. And the pastries... a true delight! Between the éclairs, the doughnuts, and especially the incredible iced vacherins, it's hard to resist!

Passing through Andlau, we bought a slice of quiche to tide us over. We had no choice but to go back and buy more because it was so delicious! The pain au chocolat and pastries were also excellent. It had been a long time since we'd found a bakery of such high quality.

Le Kastelberg

17/06/2026: I gave the hotel overall 5 stars, because the rooms are not big, but clean, the terrace with view of the vineyards and parts of the village is great, the stuff is very friendly, the breakfast fabulous and the dinner and wines are really nice as well. And the price is good value. I looked at other places in the area as well and because of the combination of all of the above I prefer this hotel by far.

Hungerplatz

30/09/2026: The "hunger spot" was quite literal in our case. We arrived at 1:30 and had to find the entrance. Other guests helped us, but the staff didn't. There was no food left. Lunch was over. At least the coffee machine was still working and the cappuccino was good. Everything else was less so. We felt a bit unwelcome.
28/09/2026: A fantastic discovery during a hike. We had a wonderful meal and received a very warm welcome, even though we arrived just before closing time. Highly recommended!
