Delicious food, rather small but great menu for lunch, pleasant service!

My wife and I have been to Perles de Saveurs for lunch and dinner. Both times the food and service were exceptional. The menu is limited but the food was faultless. We would have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant and will certainly visit again if we come to Strasbourg.

It had been over a year since we'd last been to this restaurant (the arrival of our little one had kept us quite busy!), and we weren't disappointed! The food and the service are just as delightful as ever. I particularly appreciate the fact that there are only three choices for starters, main courses, and desserts: this guarantees well-thought-out, refined recipes prepared with quality ingredients. I absolutely loved this restaurant! 🤩 Everything is homemade, and you can tell from the first bite. The dishes are delicious, prepared with care and using excellent ingredients. We came for lunch and loved it so much that we came back in the evening after our day exploring Strasbourg. A huge thank you also to the two waitresses, including the owner, who are absolutely fantastic: a warm welcome, smiles, kindness, and attentiveness throughout the meal. A friend introduced me to this restaurant 14 years ago, and even today it's still just as good: fast and efficient service, a wonderfully friendly welcome, and of course, the unmissable lemon dessert. Thank you to the whole team.

Wow, I experienced more emotions than during the Christopher Nolan film I watched right after the restaurant. First of all, you have to know that the restaurant exists to eat there because it's located in a courtyard of a Parisian apartment in the 17th arrondissement. And the restaurant's facade... let's talk about it. Actually, I think they were indecisive when decorating the place. They took something from every home decor store and placed it randomly, so there are feather dusters that look like they belong to a beauty YouTuber next to garlanded bushes placed in front of an arched architectural structure and geometric patterns reminiscent of Islamic ornamentation from Maisons du Monde. Oh yes, and I almost forgot the paintings. They're paintings of a new artistic genre, childlike and trying to be realistic. I like them, but they don't really fit the restaurant's overall aesthetic (they look like the painting in "Le Père Noël est une ordure"). After this ADHD decor, let's move on to the food. In contrast to the decor, the menu is minimalist, meaning they offer two starters, two main courses, and two desserts, and the dishes seem to change daily. On the day of my visit, we were served beef carpaccio, melon balls with ham, fish with vegetables, and chicken curry with pineapple—I can't remember the rest...oh yes, and the deconstructed lemon tart because here, they break the rules (#rebel #notliketheothers). The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. I peeped at the dishes I hadn't ordered from other customers to get a superficial idea. And guess what? The melon balls were real, but slightly disproportionate to the starter's description, which was only three lines long. The service is truly impeccable and efficient, although the waitresses (who perfectly match the vibe, meaning "I align my style with my values") had to bend and contort themselves to reach the tables because the place is so warm and welcoming (which means it's cramped, like those 9m² apartments in Paris that owners make so much money off of). Okay, I haven't even mentioned the highlight of this restaurant yet: the deconstructed lemon tart. Well, frankly, it wasn't bad. TRIGGER WARNING: DESTRUCTED LEMON TART SPOILER (skip the next sentence if you want to keep the mystery). So, basically, it's a scoop of lemon ice cream with the meringue from the tart, topped with a mint (?) basil coulis. It was delicious and not too sweet. Just for you, my fans, I went to inspect the restrooms and I almost fell over backward because the spiral staircase is so narrow, but I made it and it's clean. I'm nearing the end of my truly unique experience, so it's time I revealed the price... well, I don't quite remember, but I think the main course and dessert cost €21. This Perles de Saveurs restaurant will definitely awaken your taste buds, but also your eyesight, because the "pearls of flavor" are, in the end, the decor (one of a kind) and the location.

The dishes on offer are very refined. A real treat for the palate!

This is exactly the kind of restaurant I love! A pleasant, flower-filled, and comfortable setting. A warm welcome and impeccable value for money. Food lovers like us, who appreciate truly good things, were delighted to taste excellent cuisine made with quality ingredients and flawless execution. "Pearls of Flavor" is the perfect name for this midweek lunch. It was perfect.
