Picnic cafe sur Carcassonne

Very friendly service and delicious food. Hot meals served all day (9am-6pm).

The food tasted good, but I thought it was expensive for what it was. We ordered croques, and it came with half a slice of cheese and half a slice of ham; the rest was just lettuce and bread.

A delicious croque monsieur with goats cheese, thyme and honey, served with a simple but tasty salad and a latte Macchiato for a very affordable €11.40

Excellent value for money, the waitress was very helpful and friendly. The main course was good and the crepes were delicious; we had a lovely time.

Friendly welcome and smiling staff. However, a Viennese hot chocolate with water and industrial whipped cream for €5.40 is simply unacceptable. The French toast was okay, but there was too much Nutella, which masked the brioche's flavor. The crepes were nothing special; the batter was also watered down. I'm disappointed, and we won't be back.
