Don't expect a kitchen
4 stars, but the quality/price ratio is perfect. Small old-fashioned restaurant, where the owner chats with a group of friends seated at the table. Very polite and friendly owner/server. Simple cooking and presentation. I recommend it for people who are not looking for the dishes and atmosphere of great gourmet restaurants.

Very nice discovery in the old town of Boulogne sur Mer. We went there at lunchtime to taste the Welsh and it was really delicious. The setting is warm and the boss is really nice. I recommend 100% (in fact we are going back in the evening)

Accueil très sympathique et efficace. La cuisine est simple et bonne. Nous avons pris l'escalope de volaille sauce normande et les moules marinière. Les desserts sont copieux. Bémol sur les frites qui ne sont pas maison et le prix du café à 2,50 euros.

Took our 8 year old son here during a 2 night stay in Boulogne sur Mer. First to arrive (around 7pm), which sometimes feels odd, but owners were extremely welcoming and reacted warmly to our 'Pigeon-French' attempts. We all had Moules et Frites, as we wanted to encourage our son to try them. He ended up 'borrowing' some of ours! The place had almost filled completely by the time our main course arrived and, if I'd had enough space, I would have tried one of the other dishes I saw, which all looked delicious. Chocolate mousse (son) and our desserts were devoured enthusiastically. What a delightful place. Will definitely visit again if we return to the town.

Nous avons terminé dans ce restaurant un peu au hasard car tout ceux qu'on avait repérés étaient complets. Accueil et service très agréable, très sympa. La cuisine est simple mais plutôt bonne. On n'est pas non plus sur du foufou. Les beignets de calamar, très certainement du surgelé, les frites pas faites maison, dommage. Mais le poisson du jour et les moules, ça allait.
